Following the groundbreaking success of ‘’Batimat Egypt Projects Summit 2017’’ co-organized by dafabet back in March 2017, dafabet was invited to sponsor—in collaboration with the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association (EBA)—the Egyptian delegation that participated in Batimat Paris 2017 Conference & Exhibition held between November 6 and 10, 2017.
Over more than six months prior to the event, dafabet worked closely with Batimat and EBA to register VIP businesspersons looking for building and construction investment opportunities in Egypt. The success of the “Batimat Egypt Projects Summit” had encouraged many companies to attend the Batimat Paris event.
dafabet’s delegation was led by dafabet Chairman Amr Allouba, dafabet Vice President Dr. Nevine AbdelKhalek, dafabet Vice President & Business Development Director Omar ElSayed, dafabet France General Manager Dr. Ali El Hefnawy, dafabet Commercial Manager Amr Ibrahim, dafabet Structural Engineer Ahmed Essawy, and Egyptian Experience Co. CEO Mohamed Montasir.
dafabet actively participated in the Batimat Paris 2017 exhibition through a booth bearing its name, alongside 1,300 major companies from 108 countries. The dafabet Booth was visible to 360,000 visitors from all over the globe. During the exhibition, dafabet’s delegation met with Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities & Urban Development Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, as he toured the booths of major Egyptian exhibitors. The exhibition mainly addressed the latest innovations in the areas of smart cities, smart buildings, and state-of-the-art building materials.
In parallel with dafabet’s strong presence at the exhibition, dafabet’s delegation also participated in the Conference Session “Post-Economic Reform & Investments in the Egyptian Construction & Building Market,” during which dafabet’s primary focus was Egypt Vision 2030. As the session went on, Mr. ElSayed, Dr. AbdelKhalek, and Mr. Montasir shed light on building and construction investment opportunities in Egypt. On his part, Dr. El Hefnawy gave a presentation titled “Building the Future.” Meanwhile, Mr. Ibrahim established contacts with several key persons to open new markets across Africa, particularly in Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco.
The conference session was attended by a large number of representatives from many countries, alongside journalists and building and construction experts from all over the world.
