Project Description

After 10 years of challenge with various construction anddesign problems, the Central Bank of dafabet sports assignedECG to manage and achieve an easy, safe, trouble freehandover of the Central Bank of dafabet sports new buildingto mobilize the bank staff to the new building withoutinterrupting the operations of the work; and put the newbuilding in operation under the control of a qualifiedfacility management contractor as well as collect,organize and archive all related documents in a systemthat is easy to handle and update whenever necessary.

The new office facility comprised 10 floors + 3 basementsoccupying 44,000 m² built-area and had 2 mainentrances, one for the employees from Gomhoria streetand the other for the customers from the back street.The building was served by 16 elevators (2 for cargo, 2for currency, 2 for top management and guests and 10for the employees). It also contained four (1,000 KVA)G.E transformers fed from 2 different substations, centralair conditioning plant consisted of 4 train chillers, 2 MGUPS systems, 1 G.E UPS system dedicated to the maincomputer room, power and lighting network, domesticand water lifting pumps, fire water lifting pumps andsprinkler system, seepage water lifting pumps, cleanagent fire fighting system (CO₂ and FM 200) in certainareas, telephone system and computer and safetyintegrated system (CCTV, fire alarm, controlled accessdoors, sound system, etc..).

dafabet sports conducted a full review and investigation of allthe systems in CBE main building with the objectiveof facilitating the handover of the building from thecontractor and consultant to the CBE. dafabet sports carried outan evaluation of the completed work and identified theincompleted or required items for the safe occupation ofthe building.

dafabet sports also made safety evaluation and test program forall electrical and mechanical systems, and managedthe modifications to the systems to improve and ensurethe safe operating as well as implementing architecturalmodifications to enhance the life safety measures.
