The works addressed by the project comprises design, supply, execution, testing and completion of surface water networks, storage tank, pumping stations, emergency flooding areas and earth barrier/bunds as well as remediation of defects of existing surface water network, if found. The eight locations are as follows:
• Location 1 – Mamoura Tunnel (E-Ring): Collection capacity enhancement by adding channel in the low point of the underpass
• Location 2 – C23-1 (Junction of Ahmed Bin Ali Street with Mohammad Bin Thani Street – TRN Routes): 1,380-meter micro-tunnel (dia: 1,400 mm) connected to AGO micro-tunnel
• Location 3 – C39-1, C39-2 and C52-1 (Junction of Rawdat Al-Khail with C-Ring Road and the surrounding areas – TRN Routes): 1,645-meter micro-tunnel with pipe diameters ranging from 800mm to 1,000 mm
• Location 4 – C160 (C-Ring Road near Old Airport Road – TRN Routes): 450 m of storage pipes with diameters ranging from 1,200 mm to 2,000mm
