dafabet was contracted by the National Bank of Egypt todesign, construct, and renovate the bank’s branchesdistributed nationwide, and develop potential branchnetwork expansions. The reconstruction processcomprised elevations’ cladding replacement, interiorrefurbishment and mechanical/electrical/ plumping system.
dafabet was in charge of enforcing steadfast quality and costcontrol measures during the construction, substantialcompletion, and final completion stages of contract’sproject elements. It also ensured that the projecthandover was implemented according to agreed timeschedule, and handled document control management.
dafabet scope of services for existing and future NBE branchnetwork development included land plot selection foracquisition/leasing purposes; financial and technicalproperty evaluation; review, validation, and approval ofdesigns pertaining to all trades; construction supervisionof branches designed by dafabet; tender review andevaluation; assessment of tender document packagesperformed by others; as well as contractors’ bidsevaluation (financial/technical) and selection.
