]]> On the 10th of September 2018, during the 10th UTW Graduation Ceremony, ECG Vice President & UTW founder Dr. Nevine AbdelKhalek, and Deputy Chair of Alexandria Businessmen Association (ABA) Dr. Mohamed Mosaad Moharram, signed a new memorandum of understanding to launch the “School to Work” program by which advanced technical schools graduates in Alexandria will be trained in the technical and professional skills that qualify them for the labor market in the field of construction and building.

Through this professional development program, architectural school graduates will gain the qualifications required for draftsman jobs, while commercial school graduates will gain the qualifications required for document control/site secretary openings.

]]> In line with ECG’s efforts to further the professional development of Egyptian engineering graduates, ECG Vice President Dr. Nevine AbdelKhalek gave a presentation on the “University to Work” (UTW) initiative to representatives of Alexandria Human Resources Association on 23 January 2016. The presentation was part of a meeting held at Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza to mobilize community support for the UTW initiative in Alexandria.

On the following day, Dr. AbdelKhalek had an important preparatory meeting with Alexandria University Vice President Dr. Essam Al-Kordy. They discussed the potential of expanding the UTW initiative to include Alexandria University’s engineering graduates, in collaboration with ECG Alexandria. In this respect, both parties agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding soon.
