ECG was the Elite Sponsor of the fifth annual \u201cIntelligent Cities Exhibition & Conference: Delivering Sustainable Intelligent Cities for the Future Generations,\u201d held on 23-24 October 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference held at the Hilton Cairo Heliopolis hotel, under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, the Ministry of Electricity & Energy, and the Ministry of Environment. The event drew participation from a large number of speakers, participants, and entrepreneurs renowned corporations, all eying the future of Egypt\u2019s construction industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference discussed various topics relating to intelligent cities, including smart infrastructure, integrated security systems, energy-efficient buildings, and sustainable industrial zones, as well as advanced transportation, car parking, and traffic management systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ECG\u2019s participation was not confined to the conference\u2019s sessions and proceedings, as the company also maintained round-the-clock participation at the exhibition through an ECG booth with representatives available to answer attendees\u2019 queries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ECG\u2019s speech was delivered by the Communications & Security Systems Department Manager, Ahmed Sorour. In a presentation titled \u201cNew Emerging Technologies & their Impact on the Current Enterprise Market,\u201d Mr. Sorour shed light on integrated automation platforms and current market challenges, artificial intelligence penetration into the various ELV\/ICT systems [extra-low voltage systems\/ information & communication technology], adding AI to smart buildings, smart cities and smart infrastructure, an overview of procedures for incorporate all newly developed technologies into RFPs to meet client and market needs, new emerging technologies, and a reflection on the current enterprise market, including the following technologies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
