The objective<br \/>of this reform was to upgrade the two educational institutions to become nationally and internationally recognized.<\/p>\n<p>On a land area of 948,767 m<sup>2<\/sup>, and with an internal road of length 8,000 km, the project comprises the following existing and potentially proposed educational facilities:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Presidency Zone:<\/strong> university presidency building, shareholders council, IT &amp; community service center and police station &amp; civil defense center.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theoretical Zone:<\/strong> Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Primary Education, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Administration &amp; Management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Engineering and Science Zone:<\/strong> Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Computing, Faculty of Fine Arts and Faculty of Science &amp; Bio-medical Science.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Medical Zone:<\/strong> Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Medical Assistance in addition to an educational specialized hospital.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Academic Service Zone:<\/strong> main lecture hall, university bank &amp; commercial center, multi-purpose unit, student affairs center, main library, culture center, research center,&nbsp;conference center, auditorium, amphitheater in addition to a food court.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Zone:<\/strong> staff accommodation, male\/ female dormitories, school, nursery, mosque and utilities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sports and Recreational Zone:<\/strong> football pitch, swimming pool &amp; services.<\/p>\n<p>The design of the university serves to integrate the new buildings with the existing ones and allows for future extensions to the buildings and spaces.<\/p>\n<p>The design provides enhanced circulation around the campus and around the university&rsquo;s built form.
