ECG was awarded the contract to provide engineering consultancy services of preliminary design and detailed design.<\/p>\n<p>With land area of approximately 150,000m<sup>2<\/sup> and a built-up area of 100,000m<sup>2<\/sup>, the plant comprises process building, white sugar warehouse, raw sugar warehouse, re-melt area, high voltage area and fire protection building; fence and ancillary buildings including maintenance building; administration building, mosque, canteen, guard house and weigh bridge house.The Plant has access to roads, water, natural gas and electricity networks.<\/p>\n<p>The new Refinery produces Very High Polarity (VHP) white sugar from raw sugar. The plant&rsquo;s nameplate reads operation capacity of 2,000 tons of melted VHP sugar\/ day which is equal to 660,000 tons of raw sugar\/year.
