On a plot area of 62,500 m<sup>2<\/sup>, the project comprises the following buildings:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Powerhouse building (footprint of 760 m<sup>2<\/sup>): ground floor (switchgear &amp; main control center) and mezzanine (control room, battery room, offices, and toilets).<\/li>\n<li>Transformers building (footprint of 168 m<sup>2<\/sup>): four transformers surrounded by a chain-link enclosure with four separate chain-link gates; the transformers are separated by reinforced concrete firewalls, and the building is covered with corrugated steel sheets.<\/li>\n<li>Auxiliary transformers building (footprint of 60 m<sup>2<\/sup>): two auxiliary transformers surrounded by a chain-link enclosure with two separate gates; the building is covered with corrugated steel sheets.<\/li>\n<li>Workshop &amp; storage building (footprint of 174 m<sup>2<\/sup>): enclosed workshop &amp; store, as well as staff changing rooms with lockers and toilets.<\/li>\n<li>Staff housing building (footprint of 250 m<sup>2<\/sup>): ground floor and three typical floors; each floor consists of two apartments, each with a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom<\/li>\n<li>Guardhouse (footprint of 25 m<sup>2<\/sup>): office, bedroom, and toilet<\/li>\n<li>Pump room, fire pump room, water treatment room, water tank, and valve room located adjacent to the tank farm<\/li>\n<li>Open storage (1,000 m<sup>2<\/sup>) shaded with corrugated steel sheets<\/li>\n<li>Perimeter fence (1,000 meters long) with four guard towers at the corners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":8334,"template":"","activity":[556,567,557,558,560,561,562,566],"country":[71,134],"scope":[637,657],"sector":[252,253],"yoast_head":"\n<title>Farafra Diesel Power Station - ECG website<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"The 4 \u00d7 4 MW diesel power station is located in FarafraOasis near Farafra-Wahaat Highway.
